We have added the homework that has been set by the presenters of the Marriage Enrichment Seminar at Smethwick Church.

If you have the book you will find the homework is based upon what we have discussed, If you do not have access to a copy of the book it can be brought on Ebay or Amazon, contact a literature representative or check the questions and tasks on our Church website. So without further or do here are the tasks. 
Homework/Task 1: Spend some time sitting with you Husband or Wife and look through your wedding Albumn. 
Homework/Task 2: Just like when you were courting, take your Husband or wife on a date where you can talk and spend quality time together. 
Homework/ Task 3: (For single parents and windowed parents) Spend time doing something fun with your Child/Children. 
Homework/ Task 4(For single parents and windowed parents) Spend time doing something have always wanted to do. Something your will enjoy where to can relax and spend quality time alone. 
 

Homework/ Task 5: Chapter 1-4 read by all, married couples must read together. 

Homework/ Task 6: Married couples to answer the discuss and write down answers to the following statements. 

1. On our first date we......

2. While dating we had the most fun .......

3. our favorite song was......

4. I was attracted to my mate by.......

5. our wedding was......

6. On our honeymoon we.....

7. A keepsack I treasure from the past is.....

 

Homework/Task 7: Married couples to answer the the evaluation independently and the discuss each of your answers to see weather you agree. If your answers are similar you can discuss united action. If they are not at all similar you will need to explore ways to come closer together. 

1. How would you describe your marriage? (Be specific) 

2. How do you think your mate would describe your marriage? (Be specific) 

3. List the strong points in your marriage. 

4. List the weak point in your marriage. 

5. I am happiest in my marriage when.....

6. We are happiest in our marriage when.....

7. In my marriage I hurt when.....

8. My mate and I differ about the following things: 

9. When we have had difficulty in the past, the following things have helped make it better:

10. List some changes that you need strength from God to make in your home. 

 

Homework/ Task 8: Answer the following questions individually and then with your married partner discuss what each of you have said. 

1. What makes me feel loved? 

2. What makes your partner feel loved? 

3. Name some news ways that you can express love to your partner through actions this week. 

4. Name some new ways that you can express love to your partner through words this week.
